Thomas Muthoot John Takes Charge As Whole-Time Director Of Muthoot Microfin, Anil Sreedhar As Independent Director

Muthoot Microfin Limited has approved the appointment of Thomas Muthoot John as a Whole-Time Director, effective December 19, 2024, following the Postal Ballot Notice dated January 20, 2025, which was passed with the requisite majority.

Anil Sreedhar has been appointed as an Independent Director through the same process.

Thomas Muthoot John, previously a Non-Executive Director of Muthoot Microfin, has been associated with the company since December 2016. He holds a degree in economics from Loyola College, Chennai, a master’s in entrepreneurship and management from HEC Paris, and certifications from Harvard Business School and ISB. He has over 11 years of experience in financial services.
Anil Sreedhar holds a post-graduate certificate in business administration (MBA) with a specialisation in information systems and finance from XLRI, Jamshedpur. With over two decades of experience, he has 14 years of banking and banking technology experience in various banks across the Middle East, along with 10 years of pure technology experience in various central and state governments IT projects.
