The National Green Hydrogen Mission issues norms on testing facilities and infrastructure

According to the National Green Hydrogen Mission guidelines, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy will fund testing facilities, infrastructure, and a regulatory framework.

The goal of these norms is to identify gaps in the existing testing facilities for components, technologies, and processes within the green hydrogen value chain. They will also support the creation of new testing facilities and the upgrade of existing ones to ensure safe and secure operations. The scheme will be implemented with a total budget of Rs 200 crore until the financial year 2025-26, as part of the Rs 19,744 crore allocated to the mission. The National Institute of Solar Energy will act as the implementing agency for the scheme.
