The Board Of Welspun Corp Appoints Ravindra Pandey As Independent Director

The Board of Welspun Corp Limited has approved the appointment of Ravindra Pandey as Additional Director, in the capacity of Non-Executive, Independent Director for three years with effect from October 21, 2024. Subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Amita Misra, an Independent Director retired on completion of her term on October 21, 2024.

Ravindra Pandey, 62, has done M.Sc. from the University of Allahabad and CAIIB from the Indian Institute of Bankers. He is a senior banker; superannuated as Dy. MD of State Bank of India (SBI) in June 2022 after a career spanning 37 years with SBI.

Pandey holds directorships in Dreamfolks Services Ltd., PayU Finance India Pvt. Ltd., Pay10 Services Pvt. Ltd. (formerly known as BharatiPay Services Pvt. Ltd.), Jamipol Ltd., Trillionloans Fintech Pvt. Ltd., NSDL Database Management Ltd., Paytm Payment Bank Ltd., and SBI Global Factors Ltd.
