Sandeep Chowdhury Appointed as Group General Counsel at Suzlon Energy

Sandeep Chowdhury has been appointed as the Group General Counsel of Suzlon Energy Limited with effect from January 24, 2024, and has been designated as one of the SMPs of the company.

Sandeep Chowdhury has experience working with solicitor firms, service industries, Retail / FMCG, Pharmaceutical, and the agro-chemical industry. Chowdhury has worked with US MNCs and Fortune 100 companies at senior levels and specialises in litigation, advisory, M&As, JVs, anti-trust and competition, taxation, labour, IP laws, FCPA compliance, and investigations. He started his career with M/s. Khaitan & Co., and his last assignment was with HCC Limited. He has an LL.B. (Hons.) from the University of Calcutta.
