Rajesh Kakkar Reappointed As Corporate Head Of HR At Birla Corporation

Rajesh Kakkar has been reappointed as the Corporate Head of Human Resources and Senior Management Personnel of Birla Corporation Limited (BCL) with effect from April 01, 2025. Further,

Shailaja Chandra retires as an Independent Director of the company w.e.f. February 04, 2025.
Kakkar has over 40 years of experience in the cement industry. He holds a BE in electronics & electrical from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. He began his career with BCL as a Trainee Engineer and has served as Unit Head at various company units. Since January 2023, he has been overseeing the corporate HR functions of the company.
