Prominent investor Vijay Kedia joins Shalby board as independent director

Shalby limited has appointed Vijay Kedia and Ashok Bhatia as Independent Directors.
Vijay Kedia, a Commerce graduate from Kolkata University, is the Managing Director of Kedia Securities Pvt. Ltd. Known for his capital market proficiency, Kedia has held directorship in various companies. He has been invited as a keynote speaker at prestigious institutes and was honoured with a Doctorate degree for Excellence in the Field of Management in 2016.

Ashok Bhatia has over 45 years of professional experience, he has been associated with prominent companies such as Indo-Pharma Pharmaceutical Works Limited and Cadila Healthcare Limited. Currently serving as the Group CEO of Abacus Pharma (Africa) Ltd, Bhatia brings a wealth of expertise to the company. He completed his bachelor’s degree in science from Punjab University and pursued a master’s degree in business administration with a specialisation in marketing management from the Adam Smith University of America.

In addition, the company has appointed Amit Pathak as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel. Pathak is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, with 20 years of extensive experience in financial reporting, corporate finance, and other vital areas. He has held significant leadership roles in notable organisations like Bharat Serums and Vaccines Limited, Vimta Labs, Gati and McNally Bharat.
