LIC Housing MD & CEO Viswanatha Gowd stepped down

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of LIC Housing Finance Limited Y Viswanatha Gowd has resigned on 31st July 2023. He relinquished his position upon his retirement from the Life Insurance Corporation of India.

Gowd joined LIC of India as a direct recruit officer in 1988 and had risen through the ranks to this senior position. Prior to taking over as CEO of LIC Housing Finance, Gowd was the Chief Operating Officer of the company. He also served as Regional Manager of LIC HFL’s South Eastern Region around 2017. Gowd has made his mark in the areas of Marketing, Finance, and Pension & Group schemes.
