Lakshmi Ramakrishna Srinivas Appointed as Additional Director at South Indian Bank

The Board of South Indian Bank has appointed Lakshmi Ramakrishna Srinivas as Additional Director (Non-Executive Independent Director) with effect from November 20, 2023 for a period of 3 years.

Lakshmi Ramakrishna Srinivas, aged 60, has experience of over 38 years in State Bank of India, banking behemoth, in various capacities. She began her banking journey as a probationary officer at the State Bank of India in 1985 and recently retired in June 2023 as the Chief General Manager & Head of the Strategic Training Unit. During her tenure at SBI, she has various roles include serving as Director at the State Bank Staff College (SBSC) in Hyderabad, Senior Faculty specialising in Credit at SBSC, and functioning as a Field Officer in credit-intensive branches. She has also held positions as Branch Head/P-Division Head in Retail Branches, Vice President (Credit) at the New York branch in the USA, Team Leader in the Corporate Accounts Group Branch, and Head of a Mid Corporate Branch. She holds BA (Hons), MA, CAIIB-Part-I.
