KPMG Collaborates with Microsoft to Provide ESG Training for Executives

KPMG, in partnership with Microsoft and prestigious global universities and institutions, has introduced the KPMG ESG Academy. This adaptable and ready-to-use academy utilises the KPMG Learning Enablement and Analytics Platform, which is powered by Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams, and Microsoft Viva Learning. This platform facilitates seamless learning within the context of one’s work. It can be used as a standalone virtual learning resource or seamlessly integrated into clients’ internal learning systems. This initiative assists organisations in promoting their ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) efforts by offering both fundamental and advanced education on a wide array of ESG subjects and disciplines.

The content for the Academy courses is centred on the latest thinking in the business world regarding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters. This content has been created through collaboration between renowned ESG experts from top universities and institutions, working alongside KPMG sustainability experts.

The course material is highly adaptable and can be tailored to meet the needs of different audiences within a business, including executives, mid-level managers, and non-management staff. Clients can choose from basic ESG training, comprehensive ESG training, or advanced training focused on specific areas of interest like circularity, reporting, and risk. By combining expertise from both the business and academic worlds, the KPMG ESG Academy offers a broad spectrum of ESG education, with the flexibility to target particular industry sectors and job functions.

The establishment of the KPMG ESG Academy is part of the extended partnership between KPMG and Microsoft, reflecting their joint commitment to advancing digital solutions for global ESG challenges.
