Key Independent Directors Retire from Navin Fluorine Board

Pradip N. Kapadia, Sudhir G. Mankad, and Harish H. Engineer shall cease to be Independent Directors of Navin Fluorine International Limited upon completion of their second term of five years on June 24, 2024.

Further, Sunil S. Lalbhai shall cease to be an Independent Director of the company upon completion of his second term of five years on June 24, 2024. However, as per the company’s intimation dated May 7, 2024, Sunil S. Lalbhai will continue to be on the Board as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of the company with effect from June 25, 2024.

Pradip N. Kapadia, partner at Vigil Juris, has over 35 years of experience in the legal profession. He holds a B.A. and LLB and is both an advocate and a solicitor.

Sudhir G. Mankad is a retired IAS officer. He served as the Chief Secretary to the Government of Gujarat from 2005 to 2007 and has held significant positions in the Central Government, including the Ministries of Finance, Agriculture, and Human Resource Development, as well as in the Government of Gujarat. He has a Master’s degree in history from the University of Delhi and a diploma in development studies from Cambridge University.

Harish H. Engineer has over 44 years’ experience in the banking sector, retiring as Executive Director of Wholesale Banking at HDFC Bank. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science and a diploma in business management from Hazarimal Somani College, Mumbai.

Sunil S. Lalbhai has over 29 years of experience in the chemicals and general management sectors. He has a bachelor’s degree in science, an M.S. degree in chemistry from a U.S. university, and an M.S. degree in economic planning and policy from Boston University, USA.
