JSW Infrastructure Appoints President Rinkesh Roy As JMD & CEO; Arun Maheshwari To Serve As Non-Executive Director

The Board of JSW Infrastructure Limited has approved the appointment of Rinkesh Roy as Joint Managing Director (JMD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and consequently as Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) w.e.f. November 8, 2024. Rinkesh Roy has been elevated from his current position as President of the company. He will replace Arun Maheshwari, who has stepped down from the post, and he will continue to serve as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of the company.

Rinkesh Roy has worked for the Government of India as an IRTS officer since 1992, and he has over three decades of expertise. During his tenure, he also served as Chairman of important ports like Paradip, Visakhapatnam, Tuticorin, and Kamarajar for varying periods, as well as Chairman of the Dredging Corporation of India. He attended a UNCTAD course in Dublin, Ireland, and was a member of several high-level delegations to the United Kingdom, Spain, Denmark, South Korea, and Russia. He received the Minister of Railways Award for “Outstanding Service,” followed by the General Manager Award for “Meritorious Service.” He has a Master’s degree in Public Management from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and a fellowship from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore. He also has a Bachelor of Arts (Economics Honours) from Utkal University in India.
