JPMorgan India CEO Prabdev Singh Takes An Early Exit
Prabdev Singh, Chief Executive Officer of JP Morgan Bank’s India unit, has resigned from the position.
JPMorgan confirmed that Prabdev, commonly known as PD Singh, was departing the company in an email answer to Bloomberg News, stating that Pranav Chawda, head of commercial banking for India, will take on additional duties as head of India Corporate Banking.
In January 2023, Singh received regulatory approval for a 3-year term as CEO of JPMorgan. He succeeded Madhav Kalyan, who was appointed Head of Payments for Asia Pacific in October 2022.
Singh, an engineer by training, worked at HSBC Holdings Plc for a decade before joining JPMorgan in 2010, according to his LinkedIn profile.
