Jio Financial Appoints Sudheer Govula as Group CCO, Rupali Sawant as Head – Internal Audit

The Board of Directors of Jio Financial Services Limited has approved the appointment of Sudheer Reddy Govula as Group Chief Compliance Officer for a term of four years, with effect from January 15, 2024. The Board also approved the appointment of Rupali Sawant as Group Head of Internal Audit on the same date.

Sudheer Reddy Govula has over 28 years of experience across large public- and private-sector banks in India. Govula started his career with the State Bank of India and was associated with the institution for a decade, with exposure across banking, foreign exchange, agricultural advances, SME advances, etc. He then worked with HDFC Bank for 15 years, managing different aspects of the compliance function. He was last associated with Bandhan Bank for over two years as the Chief Compliance Officer. He has also handled various regulatory inspections, including those under a risk-based supervision framework.
