Indo Count Industries appoints L. Viswanathan and Akash Kagliwal as Independent Directors

L. Viswanathan and Akash Kagliwal have been appointed as Additional Non-Executive Independent Directors at Indo Count Industries Limited for a two-year term starting from May 30, 2023.

Viswanathan, a retired Group CFO and EVP of Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd brings extensive experience in strategic initiatives, M&A, and digital transformation. Prior to his role at Stock Holding, he held positions at Times of India, Pfizer, NELCO (a TATA Group company), and Sonodyne.

Akash Kagliwal currently serves as the Managing Director of Nath Industries Limited. He is a graduate of BA (Hons) in International Business, With over 18 years of experience, and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Nath Group. With expertise in strategic negotiations, risk management, and business model innovation, Kagliwal is poised to lead the group to new heights. Additionally, he holds positions at Akash Firms LLP and Ashu Firms LLP.

Dr. Sanjay Kumar Panda and Siddharth Mehta have been re-appointed as Non-Executive Independent Directors at Indo Count Industries Limited for a five-year term starting from August 3, 2023. Panda, an accomplished author and former Chief Secretary of Tripura has made significant contributions to corporate social responsibility and inclusive development.

Siddharth Mehta, the Managing Partner of Mehta &Padamsey, a Mumbai-based law firm, specialises in cross-border transactions and regulatory matters. He has provided legal counsel to Fortune 500 companies and serves on the boards of various organisations, including TCl Industries Limited and Millennium Aero Dynamics Private Limited.
