CRISIL Appoints Sanjay Chakravarti And Dinesh Venkatasubramanian To Key Board Roles

Sanjay Chakravarti transitions from his current role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to fully dedicate time as President, Risk and Compliance. Whereas, Dinesh Venkatasubramanian joins as Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of CRISIL Limited with effect from October 28, 2024.

Sanjay Chakravarti, a Chartered Accountant, has over 31 years of expertise in financial management, strategy, taxation, treasury, and accounting. He was born and raised in Kolkata. He earned a Chartered Accountancy degree after graduating from St. Xavier’s College in Kolkata. Chakravarti formerly worked as the Chief Financial Officer of Shoppers Stop Ltd. for 12 years.

Dinesh Venkatasubramanian is a Chartered Accountant and financial services expert with over 31 years of experience in the BFSI sector, having held senior positions at three major international banks and started two successful companies. He has a decade of entrepreneurial expertise in technology and analytics, having scaled and exited one firm and formed key alliances throughout his career. Dinesh previously worked for Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank, and he most recently oversaw DBS Bank India’s Strategy & Planning, Transformation, Data, and Analytics.
