Apollo Hospitals Reappoints Prathap C. Reddy as Executive Chairman, Shobana Kamineni Relinquishes Designation of Executive Vice Chair

The Board of Directors of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited, on May 30, 2024, has approved the reappointment of Dr. Prathap C. Reddy as a Whole-time Director designated as Executive Chairman for a period of two years with effect from June 25, 2024. Subject to the approval of the shareholders of the company.

Shobana Kamineni has expressed her intent to relinquish her designation as Executive Vice Chairperson with immediate effect while continuing to be a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director on the Board of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited.

Prathap C. Reddy, 91, is the Founder-Chairman of the Apollo Hospitals Group. Since 1983, Apollo Hospitals has set the standard, inspiring the proliferation of over 300 high-quality healthcare facilities across India. Despite his age, Dr. Reddy tirelessly dedicates over 20 hours daily to his mission, driven by compassion and a commitment to healthcare democratisation.
