APL Apollo Tubes Limited Reappoints Sanjay Gupta As CMD

The Board of Directors of APL Apollo Tubes Limited on October 29, 2024, has approved the reappointment of Sanjay Gupta as Chairman and Managing Director (MD) for five years w.e.f. November 11, 2024. Subject to the approval of the members.

The Board has also approved the appointment of Vipul Jain as the Company Secretary designated as Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) and Senior Management Personnel (SMP) w.e.f. October 29, 2024. The Board has also appointed him as the Compliance Officer of the Company in place of Shivam Maheshwari with effect from the said date.

Sanjay Gupta has 27 years of experience in the steel sector. He oversees the company, which has evolved from a structural steel tube maker to a global player in branded steel goods.

Vipul Jain is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) with a law degree. He has over 16 years of experience in managing legal, secretarial, and corporate compliance for publicly traded firms. He has experience addressing public issues, employee equity ownership schemes, corporate restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions.
