Amber Enterprises’ Subsidiary Sidwal Refrigeration Appoints Prakash Iyer As Independent Director

The Board of Directors of Sidwal Refrigeration Industries Private Limited (SIDWAL), the Material Subsidiary of Amber Enterprises India Limited, has appointed Prakash Iyer as a Non-Executive Independent Director (Additional Director) for the term of two years commencing on October 21, 2024. Subject to the approval of shareholders.

Prakash Iyer is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He has been on the Board of Amber since September 2024. He has experience of 29 years across the financial services domain. He has worked with ICRA credit ratings; Arthur Andersen; Ernst & Young; Actis; Reliance Private Equity; currently manages Haldirams Family Office; and as CEO of Butterfly Appliances. He works closely with the Venture Catalysts group in various advisory capacities and also with 100 Unicorns Fund and Elev8, Venture Partners. He holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Pune University.
