Steven Bailey Promoted As CFO Of Match Group; Gary Swidler To Take Charge As President

Steven Bailey has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Match Group, Inc., effective March 1, 2025. Gary Swidler, the current CFO, will take over as the President of Match Group on the said date.

Since 2022, Steven Bailey has served as Match Group’s Senior Vice President of Financial Planning and Business Operations. Before joining Match Group, Steven worked as Dow Jones’ Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. He earned an M.B.A. in finance from Lehigh University. He also earned a B.A. in Finance from Bloomsburg University.

Gary Swidler previously worked with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he held several positions, including Managing Director and Head of the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group. He formerly worked as an associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York City before joining Merrill Lynch in 1997. He earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
