Bharat Forge Reappoints Vice Chairman & Joint Managing Director, Amit Kalyani

The Board of Directors of Bharat Forge Limited has approved the reappointment of Amit Kalyani as a whole-time Director designated as Vice-Chairman and Joint Managing Director for five years with effect from May 11, 2024. Subject to the approval of the shareholders of the company.

Amit Kalyani’s present tenure as Joint Managing Director of the Company will conclude on May 10, 2024.

He is the son of Mr. Babasaheb N. Kalyani, Chairman and Managing Director of the company.

Amit Kalyani has been associated with Bharat Forge since 1999, starting his career focusing on operations and manufacturing before moving on to IT and finance. He has been the company’s Executive Director since May 2004.

At Bharat Forge, he has contributed immensely towards ESG emission reduction and improving the overall ESG score of the company through initiatives towards increased consumption of renewable energy, digitisation and revamping of company policies, including digital advancements, to further improve company operations and productivity. He is a member of many committees of the Government of India on manufacturing, education, skill development, and bilateral relations. He is passionate about manufacturing, technology, and CSR, especially in the areas of education, healthcare, and giving back to society.
