Titan Appoints Anil Chaudhry as Independent Director

The Board of Directors of Titan Company Limited has approved the appointment of Anil Chaudhry as an Additional Director designated as a Non-Executive Independent Director with effect from March 20, 2024, for five years. Subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Anil Chaudhry is a transformative business leader with over four decades of experience. Chaudhry has been a strong supporter of Sustainability, Energy Efficiency, Diversity and Inclusion. He was the founder, CEO, and MD of Schneider Electric India. From 2013 to 2023, he held the position of MD and Zone President of Schneider Electric, Greater India. Prior to this, he was the Sr. VP, Global Sales Organisation, Infrastructure Business, and a member of the Leadership Team in Paris. In his over 40 years of experience, he has held leadership positions in management, operations, sales, strategy, and business development with global responsibility based out of Europe and India. Chaudhry champions the cause of energy-efficient and green technologies and has done substantial work worldwide with a focus on infrastructure development, sustainability and climate change, access to energy, and skill development. He also serves on the Board of Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals as an Independent Director and as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of Schneider Electric Infrastructure. He is an engineering graduate from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. He further pursued Executive Management programmes from Harvard Business School, Stanford Business School, and INSEAD.
