Subramanian Madhavan and Tejpreet S. Chopra Appointed Independent Directors of Eicher Motors

The Board of Directors of Eicher Motors Limited has approved the appointment of Subramanian Madhavan and Tejpreet S. Chopra as Independent Directors for a period of five years, with effect from September 29, 2023. Also, the board has approved the reappointment of Inder Mohan Singh as an Independent Director for a second term of five years, with effect from November 12, 2023.

Madhavan, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with 38 years of experience, has held important roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Hindustan Unilever. He’s also been involved with various business organisations and serves on the boards of several companies.

Tejpreet S. Chopra is the founder and CEO of Bharat Light & Power Group (BLP). He started his career in 1996 at General Electric and has over 25 years of experience in various business roles across the globe. He has been the President and CEO of General Electric in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh and played a key role in GE’s growth strategies in these countries. He has also been associated with financing for India’s airline industry and is a member of the World Economic Forum Foundation (WEF) for Young Global Leaders (YGLs).
