Stephanie Lilak appointed as EVP & CPO at Mondelēz International
Stephanie Lilak has been appointed as executive vice president and chief people officer of the global snack company Mondelēz International, with effect from January 15, 2024. She replaced Paulette Alviti, who will retire in April following a transition period. Alviti is completing her tenure of five and a half years with the company.
Stephanie Lilak will directly report to Dirk Van de Put, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mondelēz International. In her new position, Lilak will be in charge of overseeing the global human resources function at the company. Her responsibilities include managing talent, leadership development, compensation and benefits, change management, employee relations, and promoting diversity, equity and inclusion. She has over three decades of experience in human resources. She has worked with several well-known companies, including General Mills, Dunkin Brands, Cooper, First Watch Restaurants and Bumble. Before joining Mondelēz, she served as the Chief People Officer at Bumble. During her 23-year tenure at General Mills, Lilak held various leadership roles in human resources, overseeing functions such as sales, operations, and international positions. She joined General Mills in 1996 and moved to Dunkin Brands in 2019. She is an alumna of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, holding an undergraduate degree in psychology and a master’s degree in industrial relations.
