Shareholders Approve Key Appointments at Asian Granito India
Mukesh Mahendrabhai Shah has been reappointed as an Independent Director for a second consecutive term of 5 years, effective from November 14, 2023, till November 13, 2028. Shah has more than 35 years of experience, has laid the foundation of his firm and has consistently improved and grown the organization manifold over his association. He manages the key client relationships on an ongoing basis and is involved in all the major engagements of the firm. He has commendable knowledge in diversified fields of Audit and assurance, Tax and regulatory matters, Transaction advisory services, Due Diligence, Corporate Restructuring including Mergers, De-mergers, Valuations, Acquisition and sales, Project Finance, FEMA and regulatory Matters. He is a chartered accountant and also holds M.Com and L.L.B, degrees.
Dr. Yashree Kaushalkumar Dixit’s appointment as an Independent Director of Asian Granito India Limited has also been approved by the shareholders for a consecutive term of 5 years, effecting from August 12, 2023, to August 11, 2028. Dixit is a fellow Member of ICSI. She has worked as a Practicing Company Secretary and has experience in Secretarial work, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code & other compliance. She achieved the Top 100 Global Women Inspiration awards (GWIA) from the I Can Foundation, Jaipur and the Woman Managing Directors of the Year award from GISR Foundation, New Delhi. She completed her Master of Commerce and Doctorate (Ph.D) in Analysis of Corporate Governance Practices of selected Indian Companies.
Shareholders have also approved Kamleshkumar Bhagubhai Patel’s reappointed as the Chairman and Managing Director of the Asian Granito India Limited for a period of 3 years, effective from January 1, 2024, till December 31, 2026. Patel has more than 25 years of experience in the Tiles Industry. In 1999, he promoted Asian Tiles Limited with other promoters. In 2003, he along with other promoters foresaw an opportunity of Vitrified tiles and started a plant at Himmatnagar for manufacturing the same. He completed a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Sardar Patel University,
Additionally, Mukeshbhai Jivabhai Patel has been reappointed as the Managing Director of Asian Granito India Limited for a period of 3 years, effective from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2027. Patel has more than 25+ years of experience in the Tiles Industry. In 1999, he promoted Asian Tiles Limited with other promoters.
