Sanjiv Somani, the CEO of Nutmeg and Chase UK, is leaving JP Morgan
JP Morgan executive Sanjiv Somani, who was the head of Nutmeg and the bank’s fintech rival business Chase in the UK, has resigned. Somani, who has been with JP Morgan since 2016, headed Chase since its launch in the UK in 2021 and was Managing Director of International Consumer Banking UK. He took over from Neil Oliver as CEO of Nutmeg, the digital wealth manager bought by JP Morgan in 2021 ahead of the introduction of Chase. Somani also serves on the board of 10x Future Technologies, a technology firm founded by former Barclays CEO Antony Jenkins. Chase is powered by 10x’s technological platform.
