Raul Rebello appointed as an additional director at Mahindra Finance

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Raul Rebello as the Whole-time Director and Managing Director & CEO. Effective from 1st May 2023 to 29th April 2024, he will be the Executive Director and MD & CEO-Designate, followed by assuming the role of Managing Director & CEO from 30th April 2024 up to 30th April 2028. He will take over from Ramesh Iyer, the current Vice-Chairman, and MD, who is retiring on 29th April 2024.

He joined MMFSL as the Chief Operating Officer in September 2021 and has effectively led the growth and transformation journey of the company. Prior to this, he worked for 19 years with Axis Bank, where he was the Executive Vice President and Head, Rural Lending and Financial Inclusion. He has vast experience in rural banking and has demonstrated the ability to accelerate growth in large businesses and incubate ideas for the future. He is a Post Graduate in Management from Goa Institute of Management and is actively involved in various industry and trade association bodies. Mr. Rebello’s appointment aligns with Mahindra Group’s core purpose of positively impacting the lives of low-income communities and agrarian households.
