Prasad Balakrishnan Is Interim CFO Of 3M India As Vidya Sarathy Steps Down

Prasad Balakrishnan has been appointed as interim Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of 3M India Limited with effect from January 30, 2025.

Vidya Sarathy has resigned as Whole-Time Director and as Chief Financial Officer (Key Managerial Personnel) of the company with effect from January 29, 2025.

Prasad Balakrishnan has 22 years of experience in senior finance roles. He spent the last 16 years at 3M, holding positions such as Finance Manager, Internal Audit Head, and currently as Finance Controller. Prior to 3M, he worked for 6 years at Metro Cash and Carry in various finance roles. His expertise spans across accounting and controlling, financial planning, treasury, M&A, taxation, and compliance. Balakrishnan holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Bangalore University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
