ONGC Appoints Devendra Kumar as CFO

The Board of Directors of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has approved the appointment of Devendra Kumar as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) with immediate effect.

Devendra Kumar joined ONGC in February 1991 and has over 33 years’ experience in finance, including around 15 years with ONGC Videsh Ltd. Kumar has worked in various capacities in both onshore and offshore units of ONGC, including overseas deputation. He is currently working as Chief of Corporate Finance, responsible for Commercial, Treasury, Accounts, Taxation, Budget and Project Appraisal, and Financial Administration. He is a postgraduate in management from IIM Ahmedabad (PGDM 1995) and also holds a degree in electrical engineering.
