Motilal Oswal Asset Management Appoints Prateek Agrawal as MD & CEO

On Wednesday, Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company announced the appointment of Prateek Agrawal as Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from April 26, 2024. The appointment is still pending necessary approvals.

Prateek Agrawal joined the company in 2022. He has around three decades of experience in the field of asset management.

The company has also promoted Akhil Chaturvedi, who is currently serving as the Chief Business Officer, to the post of Executive Director. He has 25 years of experience in top asset management businesses and has worked with MOAMC for over 11 years.

Furthermore, the fund manager responsible for designated schemes at Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund, Niket Shah, has been promoted to the post of Chief Investment Officer. He boasts over 11 years of tenure with the Motilal Oswal Group. With over 14 years of experience as both a fund manager and research analyst, he has notably overseen the Motilal Oswal Flexicap Fund and Motilal Oswal Midcap Fund, both with significant Assets Under Management (AUM).

The new changes in the company are effective April 26, 2024.
