MD and CEO of Oracle Financial Chaitanya Kamat resigns
Chaitanya Kamat has resigned as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Oracle Financial Services Software Limited. His resignation will be effective from October 4, 2023. Kamat has been serving as MD and CEO for the past twelve years.
The Board of Directors of the Company has accepted his resignation in its meeting held on 4 September. Kamat also chaired the Business Responsibility Committee and was a member of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, Stakeholders Relationship Committee and Risk Management Committee of the Board.
Kamat was Managing Director of STG, a renowned private equity firm that specialised in investing in software and enterprise services firms before he joined Oracle. Prior to this, Kamat held the position of Managing Partner for Accenture’s India Delivery Centre Network, which he was in charge of starting from scratch and expanding to a 13,000-person organisation that served more than 200 international clients.
The University of Bombay awarded Mr. Kamat a master’s degree in Computer Science and a post-graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
In addition to being a director on the boards of Netik Inc., Symphony Marketing Solutions Inc., and The Capital Markets Company N.V., he has held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at Teleca AB.
