Maya And Leah Tata Appointed To The Board Of Trustees Of Sir Ratan Tata Industrial Institute

Noel Tata’s daughters, Maya and Leah, have been appointed as members of the Board of Trustees of the Sir Ratan Tata Industrial Institute (SRTII).

This change comes after Freddy Talati joined the NCPA and Arnaz Kotwal resigned and moved to Dubai. The Sir Ratan Tata Trust (SRTT) nominated the sisters, who are both engaged with Tata Group enterprises, because they have knowledge of SRTII’s operations and are available in Mumbai for the institute’s ongoing revitalisation and restoration projects. The Tata Trusts’ plan to include younger family members in smaller trusts is in line with the appointment. The SRTT Board’s unanimous decision shows an attempt to improve SRTII’s management with local leadership.
