M. Damodaran Completes Final Term as Independent Director at Biocon

Meleveetil Damodaran has completed his second and final term as an Independent Director and consequently ceased to be a Director of Biocon Limited with effect from July 25, 2024.

M. Damodaran was the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Unit Trust of India (UTI), and Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) and also served as the Chief Secretary of the Government of Tripura. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Institute of Management, Tiruchirappalli, and serves as Chairman of Glocal Healthcare Systems. He leads the Government of India Task Force responsible for establishing the Resolution Corporation of India. He established Excellence Enablers Private Limited (EEPL) and is involved with several leading companies and the advisory boards of international organisations.
