Kokuyo Camlin appoints Satish Veerappa as Managing Director
The Board of Directors of Kokuyo Camlin Limited has approved the appointment of Satish Veerappa as Managing Director with effect from April 1, 2024, for a period of three years.
The Board has also appointed Nilesh Modi, N. S. Iyer, and Tomoya Okada as Additional Directors (Non-Executive, Independent Directors) for five years, with effect from February 8, 2024. Changes are subject to the approval of members.
Naho Shigeta has been appointed as an Independent Director and Takeo Iguchi as an Executive Director for a period of three years, with effect from February 1, 2024. Shriram S. Dandekar has been reappointed as Vice Chairman and Executive Director as of February 1, 2024.
Nilesh Modi has been a practicing advocate and solicitor for 37 years and runs M/s. Rustamji & Ginwala. Modi has experience in real estate, testamentary, arbitration, mediation, and civil litigation matters in all tribunals and courts in India, including the Supreme Court. He is a certified mediator and empanelled as a mediator and arbitrator by the Bombay High Court. He is the honorary secretary of the Bombay Incorporated Law Society.
N. S. Iyer was the General Manager of Human Resources at Asian Paints, where he worked for 29 years. Iyer is presently a consultant and an Advisor to various organisations of repute in the areas of Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Employee Relations and Labour Laws. He is on the advisory board of Neofusion Creative Foundation, Symbiotic Universalis, GNIMS, and Aatma Prakashan. He is the Chairman and Trustee of the Head Foundation. He is a professor at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). He is a certified coach from the International Coaching Federation and a Hogan-certified coach. He is a postgraduate from the Maharashtra Institute of Labour Studies, Mumbai University.
Tomoya Okada is a certified analyst and senior private banker from the Japan Securities Analysts Association. He has been engaged in M&A advisory services for over 20 years and has a track record of closing many M&A deals related to India. He graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University Senior High School, and he also has a B.A. in International Economics from Aoyama Gakuin University.
