KEC International’s Independent Director A.T. Vaswani Resigned

The Board of Directors of KEC International has taken note of the resignation of A.T. Vaswani, Independent Director of the company, with effect from April 11, 2024. Vaswani resigned on account of his advancing age and related health issues. Consequently, he shall cease to be the Chairman/Member of the Audit Committee, Risk Management Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of the company.

Vaswani is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), and currently he is an Independent Director on the Board of Zensar Technologies as well. Vaswani has more than 55 years of experience in the industry. Since 1996, Vaswani has been on the Board of Zensar Technologies. From 1996 to 2001, he served as Vice Chairman and oversaw the company’s reorganisation and revival.

Serving as both an executive and a non-executive member of the Boards of Directors of prominent MNCs since 1981, he has held the post of Deputy CEO at Metal Box of India as well as Sr. VP and Director at Glaxo India.
