KEC International Reappoints Vimal Kejriwal As MD & CEO

On July 26, 2024, the Board of Directors of KEC International Limited approved the reappointment of Vimal Kejriwal as Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for one year, effective April 1, 2025. Subject to the approval of shareholders.

The term of D. G. Piramal and S. M. Trehan as Independent Directors of the company will end on July 27, 2024. S. M. Trehan would cease to be the chairman or member of the respective committee(s) upon completion of his tenure.

The Board has also approved the appointment of Suraj Eksambekar as the Company Secretary, being a Key Managerial Personnel of the company, with effect from July 26, 2024.

Vimal Kejriwal is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He has been with the company for more than two decades and has successfully led the company towards profitable growth during his tenure. Kejriwal has over 40 years of experience in the areas of Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Fertilisers and Investment Banking. He is an alumnus of the Kellogg School of Management, USA, and NMIMS. He is also an Executive council member of the IEEMA (Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association) and the Construction Federation of India.
