Karur Vysya Bank’s Independent Director Dr. Ravichandran Retired

Dr. K. S. Ravichandran, Non-Executive Independent Director of the Karur Vysya Bank Limited, completed his tenure on May 25, 2024, after serving for eight years at the bank.

Dr. K. S. Ravichandran is an expert in Corporate Law, Insolvency and Bankruptcy, Intellectual Property Rights, and Arbitrations. Ravichandran regularly appears before various tribunals, appellate tribunals, regulators, and adjudicating authorities. As a longtime member of the Secretarial Standards Board of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), he has contributed significantly to the field. Currently, he serves as the Co-Chairman of the Karnataka Council of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM). Dr. Ravichandran has written over 500 articles and authored seven books.

He holds a Master’s degree in Commerce, a Bachelor’s degree in Law, a Diploma in Electronics and Radio Communication Engineering, and a Diploma in Technology. He has over nine years of service in the Indian Air Force. He earned a doctorate from the Department of Management at Alagappa University. He is also the founder and Managing Partner of M/S KSR & Co. Company Secretaries LLP.
