ITC Director Peter Chittaranjan resigns

ITC Limited announced the resignation of Peter Chittaranjan as a Director of the company with effect from August 31, 2023.Peter Rajatilakan Chittaranjan, 59, served for 36 years at the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) starting July 1986 as an Assistant Administrative Officer. He held several top positions at NICL in a number of positions, including that of divisional in-charge in India’s North-Eastern region and in-charge of the Motor Hub. After becoming the General Manager of NICL on July 27, 2020,  Chittaranjan has been responsible for the company’s Information Technology, Human Resources, Corporate Social Responsibility, Publicity and Digital Marketing portfolios, as well as research and development, including liability and aviation insurance, and all India Motor Strategic Tie-Ups.

Peter has a postgraduate degree in economics.
