Independent Director of CCL Products (India) Kata Chandrahas Retired

Kata Chandrahas has completed his second term as an Independent Director of CCL Products (India) Limited on May 22, 2024, and has consequently ceased to be a Non-Executive, Independent Director on the Board of Directors of the company. He was reappointed by the shareholders of the company in August 2019. He also served as the chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the committees that oversee stakeholder relations, nomination and compensation, corporate social responsibility, and risk management.

After being chosen for the Indian Revenue Service in 1976, Kata Chandrahas worked in a variety of capacities for the Income Tax Department in Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai, Pune, Allahabad, and Nagpur till his retirement in September 2009 as the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Chennai. He worked as an Undersecretary in the Finance Ministry in New Delhi. He also served as the Personal Secretary to the Union Minister of State for Finance. He completed his MBA studies in the UK and his M.Sc. (Physics) in India.
