Independent Director Gyan Prakash Joshi Retires from IDBI Bank Board

IDBI Bank Limited announced the retirement of Independent Director Gyan Prakash Joshi with effect from 27th August 2023. Gyan Prakash Joshi is an ex-IAS Officer. During his tenure as IAS Officer, he served in the states of Gujarat and Manipur as well as the Government of India. He holds experience in the management of public sector enterprises (PSEs) having spent about ten years in various capacities in select PSEs of Gujarat. Joshi took voluntary retirement from active Govt. services in December 2008 and is, at present, engaged in supporting education and nutrition in rural areas of Ramgarh, Uttarakhand, through a voluntary agency named KAFAL. He has expertise in Agriculture and rural Economy, Finance, Small Scale Industry, Risk, Administration, and Corporate Governance.
