Hindustan Unilever Ltd announced the resignation of ID Ashish Gupta

Ashish Gupta the Independent Director of  Hindustan Unilever Ltd has resigned from his post on 26th June 2023.

Gupta is a versatile individual, involved in business ownership, consulting, and strategic angel investing. He co-founded Helion Advisors in 2006, where he currently represents the firm managing $600 million across three funds. Gupta serves on the boards of Infoedge, Simplilearn, and Workspot. In the past, he held the position of Venture Partner at Woodside Fund and played a key role in the establishment of Tavant Technologies and Junglee.com (which was later acquired by Amazon). Additionally, he has gained experience working at Oracle Corporation and IBM. Among his notable ventures are RedBus, Mu Sigma, Daksh (IBM), Upwork (UPWK), MakeMyTrip, and Flipkart. His educational background includes a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, where he was honored with the President’s Gold Medal.
