Hercules Hoists Appoints Vikram Hosangady as Independent Director

The Board of Hercules Hoists Limited has approved the appointment of Vikram Taranath Hosangady as an additional and Independent Director for five years, with effect from April 1, 2024. Subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Hosangady, 50, is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. Hosangday has over 25 years of experience as a strategic partner to several large Indian and global corporations alike. He has expertise in Finance, Strategic Leadership, Corporate Governance, Investments, etc. He is also on the Board of Directors of MRF, Chemplast Sanmar, Rane (Madras), Rane Engine Valve, and Bajaj Electricals. He worked with KPMG in India and abroad in various positions from 2005 to 2022. He was part of the KPMG India Leadership Team between 2017 and 2021. Prior to KPMG, he also worked with EY and Arthur Andersen.

Further, the Board of Directors has announced the resignation of Kiran Mukadam, Company Secretary, and Key Managerial Personnel with effect from March 4, 2024.
