HDFC Bank’s Rajinder Babbar Likely to Join Bandhan Bank as Executive Director
Rajinder Kumar Babbar, a top executive at HDFC Bank, is likely to take up a new role at Bandhan Bank to help the bank in Kolkata grow its business. The Economic Times has reported that Bandhan Bank has asked the Reserve Bank of India for approval.
Currently, Babbar is in charge of some important segments at HDFC Bank, such as transportation, infrastructure, and tractor finance. Earlier, he used to lead rural businesses.
This would be the second time Bandhan Bank has brought in an executive director, a new position created by the bank’s MD, Chandra Shekhar Ghosh. Earlier this year, the bank appointed Ratan Kumar Kesh to lead banking operations.
