Annual Ignite Meet 2023: Making Science Work For India
The event has been organised by The Board of Ignite Life Science Foundation (IgniteLSF). It’s called the Annual Ignite Meet, and it will take place on August 11, 2023, in collaboration with NCBS-TIFR, at NCBS-TIFR, Dasheri Hall, Bengaluru, KA. The event will be held from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
The purpose of this event is to bring together people who believe in India’s potential and support the growth of science in the country. We want to have an interactive discussion about the theme “Science & Society – Social & Economic development implications for India.”
The Board of Ignite Life Science Foundation (IgniteLSF) is honored to have distinguished panelists joining their upcoming event, including Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, Former Chief Scientist of WHO and Scientific Advisory Board member of IgniteLSF; Dr. Ferzaan Engineer, Chairman of Cytecare Hospital; Mr. G. V Prasad, Co-Chairman & Managing Director of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories; and Dr. L. S. Shashidhara, Centre Director of NCBS-TIFR, Bengaluru. The event, themed “Science & Society – Social & Economic development implications for India,” will be moderated by Dr. Shahid Jameel, Director at IgniteLSF and Fellow at Green Templeton College, University of Oxford.
