Dr. Uday Sakharam Nirgudkar Completed His Tenure As An Independent Director Of NHPC

Dr. Uday Sakharam Nirgudkar ceased to be an Independent Director of NHPC Limited on November 7, 2024, on completion of tenure as per the Ministry of Power (MoP) communique dated November 8, 2021.

Dr. Uday Sakharam Nirgudkar, 59, has more than 28 years of experience. He has held top posts in internationally recognised IT companies, representing them in management skills courses held in the Middle East and Africa. He joined NHPC’s Board of 2021. He is also on the Board of Dr. Nirgudkar’s Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. as Director. He is the author of a book named ‘Local to Global’ and ‘All about Winning Indian Elections’. He led the IT and ITES companies as CEO. He was served as editor and CEO of large news media. He created social projects like ‘Dhaga Shourya Ka, Rakhi Abhimaan Ki’ and ‘Aapla Sainik, Aapli Diwali,’ which revolutionised journalism by making it more positive. He trained the Force One Commando Unit, which was created in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks. He has completed his MBA and PhD.
