Dr. Manisha Premnath Completes Her Term As Independent Director of IPCA Laboratories

Dr. Manisha Premnath’s second term as an Independent Director of IPCA Laboratories Limited is ending on September 20, 2024. Accordingly, she ceases to be an Independent Director of the company with effect from September 21, 2024.

Premnath is the General Manager of Venture Center. She leads a team that collaborates with entrepreneurs and technologists to support scientific startups and was instrumental in establishing the Center’s scientific co-share facilities for technology entrepreneurs. She also spearheaded the launch of the BIRAC Bioincubator, which includes biotech startup facilities and advanced scientific infrastructure. She currently leads BIRAC-supported programs aimed at fostering bioentrepreneurs and serves on the Board of Seagull Biosolutions Pvt. Ltd. She holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the University of Pune and has research experience from the University of Aberdeen and the University of Cambridge, with expertise spanning microbiology, biotechnology, and molecular virology.
