Dr. Chengappa Resigns As Independent Director Of Tasty Bite Eatables

Dr. Padinjaranda Ganapati Chengappa, Non-Executive Independent Director on the Board of Tasty Bite Eatables Limited, has resigned with effect from December 18, 2024, due to personal commitments.

Dr. Chengappa has over three decades of experience in academic administration and is one of the leading agricultural economists in India. He served as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore. He was the National Professor of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research at the Institute for Social and Economic Change, Bangalore. His international experience includes working as a consultant at the International Food Policy Research Institute (Washington), the International Plant Genetic Resource Institute (Rome), the International Rice Research Institute (Manila), DSE (Germany), and as a Visiting Professor at the University of Reading and the University of Wales. He was the president of the Indian Society of Agricultural Economics in 2012 and the Agricultural Economics Review Association, New Delhi, from 2013 to 2016. Dr. Chengappa has an M.Sc. in agricultural economics from the University of Agriculture Sciences, Bangalore, and a Ph.D. from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi.
