Dr. Brinda Jagirdar Retires As Independent Director Of IDFC First Bank

Dr. Brinda Jagirdar ceased to be an Independent Director of IDFC First Bank Limited with effect from December 17, 2024, upon completion of her term.

Dr. Brinda Jagirdar is a senior business economist based in Mumbai. She retired as General Manager and Chief Economist at the State Bank of India, where she tracked global and Indian economic developments, contributing to policy analysis, and led research studies. She is on the Research Advisory Committee of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance and has contributed to several prestigious economic committees. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Mumbai and has attended executive programs at Harvard University and IIM Lucknow.
