Dalmia Bharat appoints Anuj Gulati as Independent Director

The Board of Directors of Dalmia Bharat Limited has approved the appointment of Anuj Gulati as an Independent Director of the company for a period of 5 years, with effect from October 14, 2023. The appointment still needs the shareholders’ approval.

The company has also informed the exchanges that Pradip Kumar Khaitan, Virendra Singh Jain, and Sudha Pillai have retired as Independent Directors of the company with effect from October 14, 2023.

Anuj Gulati is presently the CEO of Care Health Insurance Ltd. (formerly known as Religare Health Insurance Company Limited). He is also a member of the General Insurance Council and has around 25 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Care Health, he served as Director – Service and Business Development at ICICI Lombard General Insurance and was responsible for a gamut of operations, namely Product Development, Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Technology, Administration, Marketing and Corporate Communications. He also had complete business responsibility for the online and rural businesses. He is a Chemical Engineer from IIT Delhi and has an MBA from IIM Bangalore.
