Banmali Agrawala has stepped down as a director of Tata Power

Tata Power’s Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director, Banmali Agrawala, has resigned from his position on the Board of Directors. His resignation will be effective from the end of the business day on April 28, 2023, as he is engaged in other activities.

With more than three decades of experience in the energy sector, He served as the President of Infrastructure, Defence & Aerospace at Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd. He previously served as President and CEO of GE South Asia and on the board of Tata Power. He chairs several Tata companies and is a member of the Board of Directors of the US-India Business Council and Pratham Education Foundation. An alumnus of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Programme, Banmali Agrawala holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mangalore University. He plays an active role in the Confederation of Indian Industries.
