Avadh Sugar & Energy announced the resignation of Company Secretary and Compliance Officer Devinder Kumar Jain with effect from 31st August 2023.

Devinder Kumar Jain is a legal professional and specialist in the field of Corporate, Secretarial, Compliance, and Regulatory advocacy issues, with extensive experience in the fields of Real Estate, Hospitality, Retail, E-Commerce, Service Sector, Consumer Durables, Manufacturing industry. He also has deep exposure in Litigation Arbitration, IPRs, Food and FMCG Sector, Corporate Secretarial & Commercial laws and matters including Mergers, Acquisitions & Takeovers, Joint Ventures Agreements and High-Value Commercial Contracts.

Devinder has headed the Legal and Corporate Secretarial divisions in multiple companies, including multinationals like McDonald’s, GE Commercial Finance, and Shalimar Group of Companies, and played a pivotal role in managing the affairs of the Board of Directors and other critical corporate secretarial matters. Devinder is a member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
